Evaluation of Pupillary Distance (PD) Measurement using Smartphone-based Pupilometer

Abstract Measurement of the pupillary distance (PD) is one important steps spectacles-making process. PD measurement can be done using Ruler, Auto-refractometer, and smartphones’ apps. The study aims to evaluate apps (Pupil Distance Meter Pro from Vistech Project, Pupil for Eye Glasses VR Headset Glassify Me, Ultimate Rule) compared them with Auto-refractometer as gold standard. A total 39 students (age 19-22) were involved in this study. result indicated that there was no difference between me app ( p = 0.48). However, a mean 0.2 mm them. It could concluded has best accuracy other value This recommended used an alternative measurement.
